Title: Labor Relations Special Session in Seattle to Focus on "Making Your Local LMCC Work For You."
Since 1995, national LMCC language has been required in every NECA-IBEW agreement, and local LMCCs have been up and running in many areas for several years. Does your chapter participate in an active local LMCC? Is yours as effective as it could be?
NECA-IBEW Labor-Management Cooperation Committees are intended to improve communications, solve problems, sponsor local programs, engage in public education, and explore new joint approaches to issues that involve NECA and IBEW members and the local electrical construction industry.
The Labor Relations Special Session to be held at NECA 2009 Seattle will demonstrate what can be done through a Local LMCC to build your relationship with the IBEW and create positive marketplace reaction for your chapter and individual electrical contracting businesses. It is set for Monday, September 14, 10:30-11:00am, at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.
